Addi has officially decided she's had it with diapers. I really thought this was my decision to make, but I see now that I have no control over the situation. About a month ago she was showing signs of potty-training readiness, but I wasn't. (showing signs of readiness, that is). So we got some panties and a little step-stool/toilet thing. I hid the panties in the back of her drawer and put the step-stool/toilet on a shelf in the closet. But alas, Addi now says "pee pee" pretty nearly every time she has to go. She even holds it and waits for the toilet. Crazy huh! When we went to the beach with some friends last week, she kept saying "pee pee, pee pee" and I told her she could just "go" since she had a diaper on (i know - huge potty-training "no no"). Nope. So I stripped her and led her to a tree. Nope. So Kali, sensing the urgency of the situation, whisked Addi away to the restroom. Addi actually did a little "holding it" pee pee dance. I was mui impressed.

Addi's potty rituals crack me up. I like how after she washes her hands she puts each foot in the sink and washes it.
So, Matt is sitting next to me while I look at your blog. He took one glance at this picture and the title of your post and said: "She is potty-trained! We are getting out butts kicked honey!" So, way to go Addie!!! Hopefully Savannah will catch up sometime soon!
Addi wow your a big kid now!!!!:) Good job, just realize not all kids potty train that easily.
