The things that made my day a bit more special than other days:
- Echo and Steph coming to the birthday movie
- getting a package from Mom
- Casey coming home early from work and surprising me with a mega decorated house and a sewing machine

- Dad calling to say 'Happy Birthday' and talking about gas prices and Angelina Jolie movies, forgetting to actually say 'happy birthday' (so he called back)
- a balloon, snickers bar, and note on the door from the Reynolds fam

- the homemade oreo cookies that Casey made for the party

- Melissa and Kaiya's little visit and birthday leis
- the "Canade, eh" pins from the Wynes/Takahashi family, which said 'honorary canadian' on the back. i'm that cool.
- all the folks droppin by our little shinding (in alphabetical order so nobody feels more or less special): Bullocks, Larsens, Parkers, Pierces, Prices, Rondos, and Sara (spelled without an 'H')

- Casey again for staying up crazy late to watch 'p.s. i love you' with me

We wish we could've been there. I hope you had a fun day. Don't worry about the cans. I laughed and stole sun dried tomatoes but I didn't care. Hahaha! Don't be embarrassed. What's embarrassing is that I didn't know which was your house. I was tying it on the green-green house when the owner actually came home and told us that was her house and then pointed to yours. Then Kurt, who was throwing our car garbage into her trash can said, "Then this must be yours too." Hahaha! She was nice so it helped with the embarrassment. Again we wish we could've been there but hope you had fun.
happy belated b-day. sounds like a great day. I can't wait til we get to be a part of all of the shindigs again. and, i really want to try those homemade oreos. they look yummy!

P.M.S. That was sweet of Casey to watch that with you. Nate got about half-way through and gave up. Ha ha. I liked it though. It was sweet. You should watch Dear Frankie sometime. Its a cute one, and it has that same guy in it.
