this MondayThankfully the fever has broke, the fussiness is mostly gone, and the cold sores are healing. The scariest part was last Friday when her blisters were forming and oozing. I read-up about it online and Herpes Simplex Virus Type I (the kind that causes cold sores) is fatal in newborns due to their weak immune systems. It causes encephalitis (swelling of the brain). And it is particularly contagious during the intial, blister forming/excreting phases ... which was last Friday. Addi was so sad that she couldn't give baby kisses, or even touch her/breathe on her for that matter.
Anyways, that's over now. We're glad to have Addi back!

J and Addi have the same blanket... It must have something to do with the "non-gender" thing, when you don't find out what you are having.

i like the P90 update on the side! that's great cuz then it makes you accountable to all the world for working out. i might even start doing that myself!
Poor thing! That sounds/looks awful. I'm so glad she's getting better. I get cold sores. It sucks.

Poor girl!! Glad she is feeling better! She is such a pretty little girl! I love her little curls framing her face, so cute.
