politics

preface: i am not politically informed. i don't consider myself to be someone you could sit down and talk "america" with (or any other country for that matter).  however, this seems to be an important election year. not because we'll either have the first black president or first female VP, but because we're in the largest economic crisis since the great depression.

hello.

i guess it hasn't really hit home to me, the crisis that is. i personally am not in an economic crisis nor are my family members or anyone i know firsthand. not saying we're rich here, but no one was affected by the recent housing saga. that said, it's a huge deal. the market is going crazy ( and no, i don't really know what that means, so don't ask. but i know it's true.)

yada yada, i don't know much, but i know people that do. so here i am going to post things they've said, taught me, shown me, etc. that i feel are important. i feel it is our responsibility to vote, and to be informed as a voter. so i hope to inform at least a few inasmuch as i have been informed - please take a moment to look at these links, watch these videos. and my apologies if they are biased or offend your personal political stance.

item 1: from my old college roommate click here
items 2 & 3: from a close friend

and with that, happy voting.

Way to go Stef! More people need to remember "we the people" ultimately govern OUR country. We need to take time to research and really find the truth about who is running OUR country and what they are doing. God bless our country so we can continue to have freedom, liberty, and joy! Heaven knows we need His help, and His alone!

The one person that I trust on television to give me the truth is Glen Beck. Not because he's Mormon, I didn't know that till after I loved him, but because he LOVES America so much. A lot of what he's been saying and has experts on the matter say, is that yes the economy is bad, but it's always been bad and the media is just hyping it up. Same with pollution and the need to go green, and same with the fall in the housing market. It really is the Media. If anything all these things have had a positive outcome these last eight years. Seriously listen to Glen Beck and he'll tell you the truth, which is the media is hyping A LOT of this crap up. However, I DO agree that we need to vote! So STEF FOR PRESIDENT!!
