i want to paint my house in these colors (the 5 in the middle):
in real life, the blue is bluer, the green is grassier, the red is bloodier, the brown is more dark chocolatey, and the yellow is like dirty mustard.
we also want to add baseboards (we currently have the peel and stick kind and the cockroaches just love throwing parties behind those buggers), crown molding in the main living area, a tub instead of the cracked shower, and eventually new flooring ... well, it needs new sub flooring first. there's a few spots where a heavy footfall will land you on the ground below (insert nervous laughter here), but that's definitely for a later date and time.
problem: we rent.
solution: ask and it shall be granted unto you ... hopefully.

SUCH FUUUN COLORS! i LOVE IT AND HOPE YOU CAN DO IT SO WE CAN SEE THE OUTCOME. i THOUGHT ABOUT PAINTING OURS, BUT SINCE WE ARE MOVING IN LIKE 6 MONTHS, AND RENT WE DEICDED TO WAIT TILL OUR NEXT PLACE, BUT I LIKE TO LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH THOSE WHO CAN PAINT NOW!
i'm curious to know about the secret, too! and we have pretty much the same agenda in the fixer-upper department. i want to pain and re-do flooring and add base boards. i've put it all off long enough! good luck to you!
