yep, it's true folks. gwen, the little, chubby, has-me-wrapped-around-her-portly-little-fingers gwen is 7 months old as of three hours ago.
i promised addi we would go to the beach when i got done with my morning errands, but when i got home she was uber tired so i said we would go after her nap ... well, she slept 10 minutes, literally, then started banging on her wall and saying "beets, wadaw, simmsoup" (i'm sure you can interpret those ... right? no? oh, come on: beach, water, swimsuit. she's practically ready for jeopardy.) over and over and over just loud enough to reverberate against the great wall of china.
so, we went to the front yard beach (the one across the street from us aka hau'ula beach park - home to many a homeless) in celebration of 7 months of healthy living.
events in order of appearance:
sometimes i pinch myself. i forget where i live. hello. hawaii! whoa! how amazingly awesome is that! and how far is this above pictured location from my front door? oh yah, about 100 yards. touchdown ...
and then it was time to go.

I want to go to the beach...the closest body of water is lake Michigan in Chicago, but seeing as winter is starting to take over...I'll tell you about it in about 7 months!!!

You're making me jealous again! Winter is coming on and we've had nothing but cold and rain. If it's going to rain, at least it could have the decency to snow so I could play in it with my son!
