today: brown guacamole.
tomorrow: farting in public. (ok, not really)

so we made a TON of guacamole for gwen's bday party which means we now have a TON of guacamole in our fridge. and of course, it's not exactly green anymore.

can i eat it?
it's like drinking the milk after the "best before" date.
so i googled it, like any truth-seeking person would do. and just as i had suspected, it's gone and oxidized on me despite my lemon-juice-related preventative measures.
i'm gonna eat it. because avacados are pricey, you know.

i think i've eaten brownish guacamole before and lived to type the tale (right now)... but dont think of me if you are curled up by a toilet bowl tonight....

Next time try keeping a few of the stones in the mix- it should help delay it from going brown.
when i worked at that mexican restaurant it turned brown fast, usually just the top layer exposed to air. but under the brown it was always bright green. so long as it tastes and smells okay, i'd eat it, too.
Go ahead and eat it. I eat brown guacamole all the time. Lucky... I love me so guacamole. We were so super excited when we saw it at the party.
Just stir it up til the brown goes away and it's as good as new. You might need to add a lil more lemon juice and salt. Ahhhh GUACAMOLE! My most favoritest food on this planet.

Yeah, just stir it. I uh, feed it to Maggie brown all the time. Well - it's not ALL brown. ..and I wish more people were afraid of farting in public :)

Just think. By eating the brown guac, you could easily, and perhaps a bit unwillingly, finally face that second fear you mentioned. More power to ya, my friend!!!!
(Just remember to blame the brown stuff.....)
