snip snip

my eyes open. blinking.

snip snip

her bedroom door ... open ... when did addi wake up?
why didn't she come say hi like always?

snip snip

addi's awake ... what's that noise??

snip snip

i stretch. yawn. gasp.

snip snip . snip snip

scissors. addi. bathroom. hair.

less than 10 footsteps later i was standing. staring.

snip snip

scissors? check.
dismembered ziploc bag. check.
all luscious locks in place. check.
one big huge sigh. check.

snip snip

let's store those little buggers a tad higher next time.

Geez, that was a close one! Though, in my experience it's not IF but WHEN little kids cut hair - sometimes not their own. That reminds me. I'm sure there are some scissors I need to put away. Xander's been pretty interested in those things lately.

OH MY GOSH! I am so glad it was just a Ziploc! I was so scared that below the first picture would be a picture of Addi with only half a side of hair or something! So glad it wasn't! I started hiding my scissors way up high too after I found a few items cut when they shouldn't have been. Live and learn right?!?

i tried to leave a comment earlier but my computer was being poopy. Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you enjoy my ramblings and that someone other than my mom is reading them. I love your blog. It's really creative and the pictures are awesome. Those little girls are precious. My hair is a little "naturally wavy" so I do straighten it but back in the day I did help the curl with a little body wave action (aka perm). Anyway, keep in touch.

Hey Jorgensens. Remember us? I saw your blog on the Sibbett's blog and I thought I would say hi. Wow 2 kids now. They are so darling. Well we have 3 now. I wish I could say that we're still in Hawaii but we've moved to Utah since Kainoa got into law school at BYU. He just finished his first year so two more to go and hopefully he can find a good job so we can move back. Anyway, hope to hear from you soon and take care.
