oh, did i mention ...

i L O V E craig and his list!

no seriously. love it.
craigslist.
love. it.

so this past weekend we met alex and girlfriend (can't remember her name) in honolulu. after re-stringing their guitar and playing with their dog, and discussing greener ways to consume water, and the benefits of ample counter-space in a kitchen, we took their couch home with us. this beauty right here:
Verve Microfiber Sectional Sofa Set (Red or Taupe, Quickship)
seriously, could i find a smaller picture?!?! no. but i couldn't find a larger one either.

right now it's piled in our "fish tank room", as we lovingly and creatively call the room that houses the fish tank. but in hopefully less than a month's time, it will be nestled right here in this little beauty *sigh* .

oh, and craigslist couldn't be loved if it only gave us a couch. oh, no no. because it gave us oh so much more. seriously folks, you have no idea how long i've been searching and searching and searching for one of these gems ... i found one a while back but they never returned my calls, so i've been on the daily hunt ever since. introducing addi's first transportation device!!

now anyone who knows me knows i absolute abhor the whole disney princess thing. gag me. no seriously ... but it was only $25 for a bike, helmet, and matching backpack. because seriously, what's a bike without a matching backpack... ?

and our bikes (casey's and mine) will be arriving in our POD in just a few short weeks. so family nights on the bikes are coming oh so soon.

how sweet is that!!

and that's why i love craigslist.

just buy some black and white spray paint and make yourself some fancy zebra stripes to wipe all that princess nonsense away.

Craigslist can be so addicting. Buying AND selling. I love them both. Good for you and your finds. Totally with you on the Disney princess thing, although I've had to lose that battle several times.
