so . many . signatures
we brought crackers and drinks and a mr. potato head for the girls, but they kept pretty entertained with dry erase markers and dismantling the plastic plants around the office.
as soon as we were done we headed out for some fresh air. the mortgage offices were right in the heart of kailua town, so we went on a little stroll and ended up at mexico lindo - yumilicious lunch. the girls weren't so into it, so we decided we'd take them somewhere more sugary. you know, to say thanks for being such champs during the hour + of signing.
in case you're wondering, the coldstone cupcakes really aren't all too tasty. totally not worth the cost. we gave two of our six-pack to the guy working there. seriously ...
not . worth . it.
then we went home.
addi fell asleep before we even got out of kaneohe.
gwen wasn't far behind.
then case was snoring.
so i pulled over in ka'a'a'wa and we took a family nap at the beachpark.
in the car. with the a/c on. for about half an hour.
so, on the house.
we officially "close" this thursday, meaning that's when we officially become absolutely poor. haha ... ha. (oh so true)
we move in Oct. 13th. i love that date! because october is the "haunted month" in my mind, you know, 'cause of halloween i guess. and the 13th ... everyone knows about the 13th. and mind you, it's not friday the 13th... it's tuesday the 13th.
but anyways, that's cool that it's october 13th. i'm not really into superstitions, so i'm all sorts of pumped about it.
really i'd be pumped about it no matter what the date was.

Yay!!!! How exciting for you guys. And that is great to know about the cupcakes. I've always wanted to try them, and have been a little bummed since Eden's 2nd birthday party because i chose a chocolate ice cream cake over those cupcakes. But, now i realize i made the correct decision because our cake was Deeeeeelicious! But anyway....congrats! I'm glad your looooooooong wait is finally finally finally over. Welcome to being poor! ;-)

YEAH! Your very own house to decorate and paint and all those fun things you get to play with. I long for that day, not the being totally poor part about it though. Sigh, it's a great thing though, happy day!
