i might have mentioned how i don't sew.

well, i don't.

but i love love LOVE to design clothes. especially for my little humans. it's just the machine... when i sit down at that dern machine... gosh, i get so intimidated!

and i have friends who are sewing fiends... it's like they were born sewing swaddling blankets for themselves. some are nearly pro. no, really. {you know who you are... coughmeg, coughecho, cough cough.}

anyways, i've decided i own my brother, he doesn't own me. {i have a brother brand machine... hehe} and am determined to sew a project a week.

this week i did these little numbers from an old sheet and a scrap of grey plaid:

mOm. ..

jump, jump!

shoe don't mom

in the end, addi's ended up being a shirt-dress too... but i haven't gotten the straps on yet, so i'll get back at ya on that one.

Those are adorable!!! Good work Stef! Pro... please. I'm a far cry from that! But one thing I can tell you is the more you do the more comfortable you will get. I've been sewing since 12ish so sitting down at my machine feels like I'm home. You'll get there... just keep doing it!

Adorable!
I am the exact same way. I get these great ideas, and then decide to bag it because I lack the skill and determination to not let the machine get the best of me!
Well done!
