press play and read on, cause there's nothing to watch anyways.
case likes to find new songs for me.
i like that case likes to find new songs for me.
this was friday's new song...
this weekend, life was new.
everything's a little better. a little brighter.
love is fresher.
life is new.
i like february. 28 is my favorite number.
i'm baby hungry.
i'm hungry in general.
mostly for sugar.
babies are sweet.
maybe this year... maybe next.
gwen's potty training. her decision. well, a joint decision really. when she insists on running around with her muffins hanging out, i insist on adding a toilet to her circle of relationships. (muffins = butt cheeks in our house. unless they're blueberry... then they're the real thing.)
some of my favorite humans came over last night. it made me smile. a lot.
the color red is growing on me. i've never really liked red, black or white. and now they keep popping up in my general idea of cute decor. and cake decorating options.
addi has so much personality {read: attitude}. i like it some days. not-so-much others.
she keeps it spicey.
she's learning her letters.
"A says ah"
"W says wuh wuh wuh"
thanks leap frog.
i like birds.
cartoon-looking birds mostly.
i think i'm going to paint some birds today.
robin's egg blue.
avocado green.
and red.
sitting on white trees.
yes, i think i will.
i love casey. he's cute. he has freckles on his lips.
i'm the only one that's ever kissed those freckles.
jealous much?
gwen's talking alot. it's cute.
a communicating tiny person with her muffins hanging out.
i like hot cocoa.
and apple oatmeal crisp.
and fudge.
and fried chicken made by my boyfriend.
and homemade lemonade.
did you know there are 86,400 seconds in a day?
it seems like the helicopters are flying really low today... another escaped convict in the mountains?
probably.
i want to make stuff. furniture, mostly. and paint it all sorts of colors. i learned a new color last weak. it was basically dark teal... but with a fancier name. the color itself wasn't new, just the name. seriously, whatwasthename?? anyways, furniture. armoires. end tables with function {read: storage}. dining tables. can rustic and modern mesh together and be a new style? i hope so. we'll see.
HECO finally came and moved our meter box.
which means we finally got to finish the garage.
but we still need to paint it.
it's been raining a lot.
painting in the rain doesn't have quite the same payoff as singing in the rain.
i want a watch.
and a pair of sanuk shoes.
or 3.
and cute clothes.
and more vintage bakeware.
and more me time.
but i'm fine not having any of them.
well, except clothes, out of respect for the general public i need clothes.
does this post seem self-involved? oops. you don't have to read. isn't that nice. you can stop right now.
i've been thinking about prayer a lot lately and how really, the purpose of prayer isn't to ask God to give us what we want, but rather, to learn what He wants for us, and learn how to accept it. i guess that's a no brainer... to have our will one with His will. and to realize that time isn't really as linear as we'd like to think it is, so we can't really change the course of life, because it's course is set. but we can pray to understand that course. to see that course and to accept it. and to have help along the way.
i want to be more romantic.
i will.
i like polka dots and stripes.
equally.
maybe polka dots a little more...
no.
equally.
to me, addi is a polka dot and gwen is a stripe.
case is the velvet wall paper that was big in the 70s.
i haven't written a song in nearly a year... what's up with that.
i'm not really politically opinionated, but i think the movie W. is pathetic. i don't agree with it's portrayal of our former president. i guess i should finish it, but so far, it makes my mouth taste yucky.
naptime just ended and addi's face is all red-cheeked and sweaty. i'm gonna kiss it.

i think when people post their rambling thoughts it is great. cause i think it is more how we (i) think and talk.
like.
Likin' all of this Miss Steph. Yep, I do.
