I often find myself daydreaming designs for
clothes I will someday make, when I own a
sewing machine and, oh ya, learn how to use it. I love shopping for clothes (though detest it with children - hence my current wardrobe). I don't like any particular brand or store - I consider my {preferred - not current} style "eclectic". I just found a new line of clothing called Matilda Jane - love it. I love the material, the "patchwork" look of it all. The ruffle pants however I could only put on Addi. I myself just couldn't pull it off. Actually, I guess I generally like it more for Addi than me.

I am SO excited to own a home. My friend Ashley and her husband are in the
process of building their first home. I'm living it up vicariously through her experience (thanks Ash). Case and I have already designed our future home using a program my mom bought us last Christmas. What's so cool about owning? - painting and decorating - choosing a color palette - accessorizing in a more permanent way. Mostly, feeling ok with spending the money to decorate, for me. If I knew we were staying in Hawaii, I might be more zealous in decorating our current living quarters. But really, it's up in the air. We have no idea where we will be living 5 yrs. from now, and if it's not Hawaii, that's a lot of time and work and "self" to put on Craigslist. Oh but how I love to decorate. But I also love to change it up ... often.

I don't have much to say on scrapbooking other than the fact that I like the idea of it and would love to do it if I have an excessive amount of freetime - heavens, if I had any freetime. It is the least of my aforementioned "closet interests".
There. I did it. I'm a girl. Bring on the pink ribbons.

I knew it! I knew you were a girl. I can't put my foot on what gave it away, but I knew you were! If I put my confessions on my blog I think I would be blogging every minute of the day. You might've just inspired me to gush. These are cute confessions though. When you do get your own place I can't wait to see the final design!
You're so funny. I totally know how you feel- its frustrating to be somewhat unsettled and not feel like you can really decorate and make your house a home. These last 4 years of our married life, we have always got our furniture on craigslist or from Wal-Mart or something. I am now really wanting more quality furnishings and decor, so I got myself a job 6 months ago so that I can freely decorate! People make fun of me, but that's how badly I have been wanting to decorate our place with nice things!! P.S. I work at a tanning salon on weekends. Pretty pathetic... but fun and easy!
You are so cute! It's hard for some of us to admit to everyone else who we truely are. (= I know how you feel about the whole decorating your OWN home thing. I can't wait either. Your style was always so cute, I love it.
AH Stef! Our souls align in that area, I LOVE TO DECORATE and I have the same problem of daydreaming up clothes that I will make one of these days. It really is bad, but what can we do?!!
