Aloha all!
So I lied ... we might post more than monthly. :) We're doing fabulous on p90x, both exercising and eating-wise. We missed Monday due to craziness, but just acted like Tuesday was Monday, Wednesday was Tuesday, etc. etc. Yah, I'm confused too ... Not really though.
Neither of us have eaten anything off the plan (except for my two bites of jell-o at the Larsens last Saturday, but it's not like German Chocolate Cake or something), and we're doing good at consuming all of our proteins now that we have protein powder. We LOVE plyometrics. HUGE workout. We still can't quite make it all the way through the Ab Ripper DVD, but we get better every time. My friend Matti has been doing Ab Ripper for like a week and lost 1" on her already flat and chiseled abs. Crazy eh!
The one bummer ... we lost our "before"" measurements. And no it wasn't some scheming 'on purpose' thing so that we wouldn't have to post them with the after. We left them at WalMart when we were buying heavier weights for our strength workouts. So now our beginning measurements are Day 10 measurements.
Case has lost a fluctuating 8 lbs. and I have lost a fluctuating 3. I guess I'm a little frustrated about that, but I can tell I'm getting a bit smaller in various places, so I'll focus on that until the scales have something a little nicer to say.

I was surprized to you on my blog. Your family is adorable! Congrats on the weight loss goal, this is one challenge that is never easy.
Don't worry about the weight! You're just trying to get your metabolism up right now. You'll start to feel the results before seeing them in numbers. You're doing so good! That's a bummer you lost your before measurements but at least you seem 10 days more in shape than when you started! ...did that make sense? Anywho, Keep up the good work!
Yay for the workouts! Can you email me and tell me what the workout schedule is supposed to be like or do you just go and do whatever or like one workout a day? I need to start working out for real! Good job on losing 3 pounds in 12 days! It's a whole LOT better than gaining 3 pounds!!
Way to go! I am so impressed with your dedication. I need to get me some of that. I have a hard time sticking with stuff. Its frustrating. Nate and I have thought about doing P90X. We're still thinking... which is not very effective.
yay for you! just think stupid men lose weight faster than women...it' horrible but true. you are doing great though!
