our new church schedule is 8-11. yes, that's 8 am - 11 am. so we have tons and tons and tons of family fun time after church.
it really is a sweet deal.
week 1 was the fun ka'a'awa picnicking. see here.
week 2 we picnicked as a family across the street.

week 3 (that was yesterday) we visited la templo sqaure-o. well, i guess it's not a "square", more of a rectangle. and not even known for it's shape ... at any rate, that's where we went.
"wawa!!! swippas wash, mama? yah?!"
"bwah bwah. aaah. bwah bwah bwah. daada da dada. bwah bwah."
"baby jejus... mama, mama, nook, baby jejus."
"mama, sit here. yah?! sit here, mama."
"oh by josh. oh by josh, momma, BIG jejus!"
next week we're planning on hiking the loop - the hau'ula loop trail, that is.

love all the kid dialogue captions. and my whole sunday routine is thrown off because my parents aren't here. i used to head there with the kids after church. our church starts at 12 this year, last year it was 8. last year also used to be 8am then11:30am then 3pm for the 3 ward times. this year we are doing the overlapping schedule again, sometimes parking is a pain, and because we are the biggest ward using the makai chapel we are last at 12. i like the 12 better then the 3pm deal anyday. anyways, you can borrow my book, i will call you tomorrow maybe and drop it by.
el templo, heheheh. anyway our church is now 1-4 ugh, totally hate it. Maybe we should move to another place. jk. I am totally more of a morning person and getting home at 4:00 doesn't make for the best but oh well.
What a fun idea! Picniking on Sudnay after early church. I am going to have to start implementing that in our family. Thanks!
