the zhyoozeum

i don't think addi knows that the museum and the zoo are two different places. that's why i figure she calls them, collectively, the "zhyoozeum".

there was this awesome circus exhibit, all of the ins and outs of freakish humans (old-school circus folks... like contortionists, bearded ladies, conjoined twins, etc.), trapeze artists, the scary animals (gwen freaked at the fake lion... f r e a k e d!), and of course the "identify the animal by it's poo" exhibit. no joke.

honky

and then classic bishop museum with all the hawaiian history. i love love love this part... i could spend hours reading all the placards and doing the hands on poi pounding activities, examining the gorgeous chiefly clothing, trying to figure out how entire families fit in those tiny hales... hey casey, wanna take me on a kid-free date to bishop museum??

then two days later we went to the zoo!

ok, so i don't really have many words to say about it, so just enjoy the pics.

Looks like fun times, Stef! And I couldn't agree more about the Hawaiian Hall at the Bishop Museum. Keli'i and I actually went on a kid-free date there last night. It was awesome.

Aloha Friends.

I love all the pictures. Your girls are beautiful and the adventures you have look like a lot of fun. Tell Casey, I said i'm impressed with the garage he built. What a handy man.

Okay, so I have pretty much made up my mind that you are one of my top 5 favorite people! (Don't ask who the other 4 are- I haven't decided! LOL) You're totally hilarious AND if I could afford it, I'd live with you! LOL OR next door. Keep us laughing!
