yah, we don't have a tub ... this is our shower. don't leave your kids alone in the shower. they'll pour all of the soap out and stop up the drain with a balloon. true story.
this morning i was way tired. gwen decided to poo at 5:30 so i decided i needed to change her diaper, and then she decided she liked me so much she would just stay awake for nearly an hour. so when i laid back down, addi woke up. i gave her crackers, turned on a movie, and told her i was sleeping. there i lay on the couch, add on the floor in her comfy little "bed" i made her. i guess gwen woke-up somewhere in there, because i woke up nearly a half-hour later when i heard her squeaking and addi jumping in her crib laughing. then addi said, "shh, gwenner. mommas night-night. quiet, ok." my heart melted and i went right back to sleep. then a half-hour later the squeaks had turned to squawks (yes, there's a difference) so i went in. they were both in the crib, addi laughing and jumping. gwen not so laughing and getting bounced to bits. i went to addi first to give her kisses and say thanks for letting me sleep. gwen squeaked at me, "ah! bwah bwah bwah bwah. ah!" because she wanted kisses too. so i went to her end of the crib and she leaned over and opened her tiny baby lips and laid one on me.
addi's nursing here baby doll. "baby nilk?" then she switches sides, "baby nudder one nilk!"
sorry gwen. i forgot to snap your onesie before i put your pants on.
in my defense, it was 5:30
it's a good morning.

i like this.
and it seems like addi and kaiya could start some sort of nursing baby doll club! :) i actually think probably most little girls do that- especially little girls who see their mamas nursing their little siblings- it's precious.
ha! my mom has the same picture of me as a little girl breast feeding my doll too! I love the pic of them in the tub together and them playing in the crib together! Sisters are the best!
You always make me laugh Stef! And let me know that I'm not alone when I do things I think no other 'good' mom probably does- like the onsie over the pants! You made my day =o)
Addi is one of my favorite little people, and that's the truth.
she's just got a good personality!
Your girls are way too cute Stef! I love this blog! My step daughter would always breastfeed her baby dolls as well during the time I was breast feeding Derick. SO cute! I love babies and little children! They are so much fun! Hopefully one day our children could meet! They are all so cute! I just want to give your girls big hugs and kisses! :)
Wait... is Gwen walking or still cruising? It really doesn't make a difference because I'm still picturing her as a baby who couldn't really move by herself. And I think the onesie buttoned on the outside is like a new super hero baby fashion trend you can start!
You're such a positive girl and such a great mom...you inspire me! Fun stories.
I laughed so hard when I say Addi nursing her baby doll.
That is too funny with the onsie snapped outside. How cute. I think it is a new fashion! Everyone will start doing it that way soon! ;)
Your blog is so adorable. I LOVE it!
great post- but what caught my eye was that red chair adi is sitting in. where did you get it? i have been searching for something similar for adelaides bday.
