way to be born!

i know i know. i've totally been neglecting the blog. 

i promise i'll neglect less, maybe ... 

hopefully.

it's been birthday central in these parts. tons and tons of cake-filled pictures folks.

first it was amby turning 2.

the birthday boy himself in all his cheekiness...

addi liked the cupcakes - gwen liked the drumsticks.

then krew turned 1.

this, obviously, is not krew at age 1. this is in fact krew at age 4 1/2 mos. or something. 

the bounce house was a HUGE hit!

then there were bubbles, and cars, and skateboards ... 

oh, and a roasted pig.

last but not least, my adorable little casey turned 26.

i got babysitters for most of the day and we went to haleiwa WITHOUT KIDS! how amazing is that! we ate at cholo's ...

and got strawberry daquiries.

then we went to a handmade glass stuff shop where i snuck a picture ... i tried to get one of the awesome octopus, but i guess that's a no-no. i might steal their idea and go home and make my own crazy glass sculptures, you know. it was seriously SO awesome though!! and we definitely couldn't have stepped foot in there with our wee ones ...

on the way home there was a rainbow for no reason, meaning no rain. 

it was a "casey's birthday" rainbow

then some of our peeps came over and we ate cake

and entertained kiddos.

and now we're pretty much up-to-date.
